Lesley Vonachen
Owner
Born and raised in Peoria, Lesley was a Special Education teacher and worked for many years in a family retail business. She has four beautiful grown children and one grandchild! Lesley loves Peoria and the people in it and has a passion for sharing her time and talents to support many local organizations, from non-profits to our schools and health organizations that make Peoria a wonderful place to raise your family! Along with her siblings, Lesley took care of her parents during their final years; this gave her an appreciation for the various levels of care they received. Lesley feels compassion and kindness with respect to our aging population is so important. Consistent communication with the family is essential for peace of mind for the clients’ loved ones.

Alison Hammerton
Owner
Alison Hammerton is a Peoria native. She has a diverse background that includes insurance underwriting, teaching, and coaching. She and her husband, Tom, made the decision to join the Interim team and establish an agency in Peoria because they saw the need for quality home-based care for those in our community who wish to remain safe, independent, and flexible in their own homes. Interim’s holistic mind-body-spirit-family approach to care provides an excellent choice for families who are looking for compassionate, customized care for their loved ones.
Alison earned a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a master’s degree in English Literature from Bradley University. In addition to serving families in our community in the home care field, Alison is the head girls’ swimming coach at Richwoods High School.

Tia Mortensen
Office Manager
Senior care has been a passion for Tia since her college years at Bradley University, where she began working in the industry over a decade ago. From hospice to long term care, Tia has worked in many capacities and has had the opportunity to help seniors and their families. As a Certified Dementia Practitioner, she enjoys educating employees and families about techniques available to positively impact the quality of life for loved ones living with the disease.
Tia and her husband, Alex, are from central Illinois and enjoy spending time with their two beautiful kiddos.

DeAnna Peters
Scheduler & Recruiter
DeAnna has lived in the Peoria area her entire life and has been in the healthcare industry for over seventeen years. She graduated with a degree in Healthcare Management Services from Midstate College; she worked as the Head ER Tech at Proctor Emergency Department for thirteen years = and as a scheduler for a staffing agency for four years. DeAnna has a passion for senior care. Her outgoing and personable demeanor has been a huge asset to Interim, and her previous experiences in the medical field, along with her ability to forge personal relationships with our caregivers enhances her skill in matching the perfect caregiver with a client.
DeAnna and her husband George are the proud parents of a daughter and enjoy time together outdoors.
